It all started with a soggy trip. Our founder’s gear got soaked through his “waterproof” hitch luggage carrier during a downpour, and that’s when the light bulb went off. Why not make something better? That’s how BagMate® came to life.

This is a sturdy, well made bag. I use it for a 90mm f5.5 refracting telescope and a Sky Watcher AZ Gti alt-azimuth mount. It has just the right length (30 in.) and is much roomier in girth than needed. I love that the bag has a reinforced bottom for setting on rough and moist surfaces.

Well, sports fans, here it is! We have a creek at the bottom of our driveway, yet this bag keeps our groceries and other purchases bone-dry inside. This bag is made to last; tough, durable, waterproof, and while it can get muddy it’s easy to hose it off (let it dry completely before folding it up for storage, of course).
